Steven C. Levy, CPA, JD
Steve graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. He also received his law degree from New York Law School. After law school, Steve worked over seven years at Ernst & Young where he gained expertise in the fields of corporate taxation and complex individual taxation, as well as tax incentives such as the research and development tax credit. Steve has worked with both small-to-mid size businesses and large Fortune 500 companies in various aspects of income tax, including partnership/S corporation taxation and tax accounting.
Steve is a national expert in tax incentives such as the R&D tax credit and the domestic production deduction, while also providing tax return services to companies from small businesses to large multi-state corporations. He has also served as an acting Tax Manager for large corporate tax departments to assist with their tax return needs and FAS 109/FIN 48 reporting. Steve has also advised on tax aspects that arise during the lifecycle of a business from its inception to succession.
Steve is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Indiana, and is a licensed attorney in Indiana and Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. A long-time resident of Hendricks County, he is also a member of the Brownsburg Kiwanis Club. Steve also serves as Treasurer for non-profit organizations Encore Vocal Arts and the Lebanon Swim Club.
